The New York Islanders traveled to the Motor City to take on the Detroit Red Wings tonight!

Coming into tonight action versus Detroit, the New York Islanders are wrapping up a five-game road trip which they have not done so well on. Their record during this five-game road trip is one victory, one defeat and three overtime defeat. They are looking to end their road trip on a positive note before returning home to take on the Saint Louis Blues and the Boston Bruins before the Thanksgiving break. The Islanders will need to find some of their positive mojo back if they are going to stop the bleeding. They will need to find a way to get a dirty goal or maybe start a fight to get the team going in the right direction. Coming into tonight’s game action, the New York Islanders are coming from an overtime defeat versus the Edmonton Oilers in their last contest. The Islanders are not off to the best start this season. They have a record of six victories, six defeats and four overtime defeats for fifteen points, putting them in fifth place in the Metropolitan division as of right now. The Islanders have not gotten the breaks that they needed to start off this season. They will look to right  the ship when they take on Bo Horvat’s former team. New York will need to find some consistency in their game to bring home two points tonight versus the Canucks. I believe if we can just find our team chemistry this team will start to gel. Some matchups to watch for in tonight’s game Bo Horvat versus TJ Miller. I think the New York Islanders can come out with two points tonight if we get good goaltending and play our team game but, we will have to wait and see what this team is truly made of. Leading the way was the big CAT with a dominant performance once again with 32 points and 11 rebounds. He will look to keep the Knicks momentum going today from Indiana. Some keys factors in today's game may include stopping players like Tyrese and Miles Turner. The New York Knicks will need timely buckets from the big CAT, Jalen Brunson, and Miles Bridges to come out with a win. The New York Islanders are dealing with some key injuries to some of their valuable players such as Mathew Barzal. It will take a heroic effort for the New York Islanders to come out with a victory this afternoon. Hopefully, we can come out on top, but we will have to wait and see.
