Avalanche Try To Close Out Two Time Defending Stanley Cup Champion Lightning Tonight

 Good afternoon hockey fans! I am coming to you with my friend Kathleen from the Floral Park Rec Center on this hot but beautiful day in Floral Park, NY. While in Tampa Bay this evening the Colorado Avalanche play Game 6 against the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning. 

Colorado is trying to win its first Cup since 2001 when Peter Forbserg, Patrick Roy, and Joe Sakic took home the title. Now 21 years later, the likes of Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, and Nazem Kadri try to build their own legacy. 

Now let’s turn our attention to the reigning champions, the Lightning. The Lightning are trying to build a dynasty by becoming the first three time consecutive Cup winner since the New York Islanders in the late 80s. 

That team boasted Billy Smith, Bryan Trottier, and the late Mike Bossy. With the likes of Andrei Vasilevskiy, Nikita Kucherov, and Steven Stamkos, this team will back down without a fight. But I think Colorado has too much fire power to handle. So my prediction is Colorado wins the Cup tonight 3-2 in overtime to crown a 2022 champion. NBA Finals Preview

 Hello there, basketball fans!  I am coming to you from the Floral Park Rec Center on this beautiful day with my friend Kathleen. I am sorry than I have not written in a long time. I have a new job opportunity but now I’m back with the latest from the NBA! I am going to give you my prediction for Game 7 tonight (Miami vs Boston at 8:30pm on ABC).

First, let’s deal with Game 7 of the Eastern Conference. Coming into tonight’s winner take all Game 7, it has been a back and forth series with neither team willing to give an inch. In the previous game, Jimmy Butler scored 47 points on 16 of 29 shots attempted. 

On the other hand, Jason Tatum, the young star on the Boston Celtics is averaging about 23 points per game in this series. However, Miami has home court advantage in this pivotal Game 7. 

Now, my prediction for tonight’s Eastern Conference final is a Miami victory, feeding off the home crowd’s energy! It should be a good game tonight. You can catch all the high-flying action tonight on ABC with Mark Jones, who is filling in for Mike Breen. 

With the NBA Finals scheduled for June 2 and a healthy Steph Curry and Klay Thompson back in the fold, I predict the Golden State Warriors will win in 6 games.

Hello there my friends, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house bringing you all the latest information regarding the start of the 2022 MLB regular season. Yes, baseball is finally coming back!

It took some bargaining by the MLB players and team representatives, but the two sides have finally managed to figure out their differences. Now we can officially start baseball season, which I am really looking forward to! I will be interested to see where players like Freddie Freeman, Trevor Story, and Carlos Correa end up as they all are currently free agents. I will also be watching the New York teams very closely to see whether both teams make any more significant changes to help with their roster’s construction. Should be an interesting offseason.

Hello there, you guys and girls, I am back. Sorry for not writing for a long time, but your favorite sports reporter is back bringing you if preview of the 2022 Paralympics from Beijing, China. No, I am not actually in Beijing, I wish that I were there, so I am bringing you my preview from my house. The Winter Paralympics this year begins on March 4th and goes through the 13th.  Some of the events you will see in this year's games include wheelchair curling, adaptable downhill skiing, and sled hockey just to name a few. I will be greatly interested to see how many gold medals Team USA brings home this year, it should be a good one. I hope you will watch, I know I will. You can catch all of the action of the 2022 Paralympic games on NBC, USA, and CNBC. It all kicks off on March 4th, so make sure you tune in; you do not want to miss a moment of this action! The New York Islanders Take on the New Jersey Devils Tonight

 Hello there, New York Islanders fans! I am coming to you from my house on this overcast day bringing you the latest news from your New York Islanders. I am happy to say that I will be attending the UBS Arena tonight when the Islanders take on their Hudson River rivals the New Jersey Devils. I am super psyched as it will be my first time at the new arena on Long Island!

 

But now enough about me, let talk about the game tonight. Coming into tonight’s game the Islanders are not off to the greatest start this season, as they are in the  bottom of the Metropolitan Division as of right now with 17 points and a record of 6 wins, 11 losses, and 5 ties, while the New Jersey Devils have a record of 10 wins, 10 losses, and 5 ties.

Some key matchups to watch for tonight’s game includes Matthew Barzal and Anders Lee for the New York Islanders. The reason you want to look for these key players is that Matthew Barzal has the legs of a gazelle with the ability to skate circles around the ice. Anders Lee has a never-back-down mentality when it comes to getting to the front of the net, and he always gets the dirty goals (always cleaning up the garbage!).

On the other side of the ice, key players to look for include Dawson Mercer, Jesper Bratt, and Nico Hischier. Dawson Mercer is a sharpshooter who burst onto the scene this year for the New Jersey Devils. Jesper Bratt is quick as a fox and is excellent at scoring those crunch-time goals. Nico Hischier is coming off injury but is looking to provide guidance in his leadership role as captain of the Devils.

It should be a rocking atmosphere at UBS Arena tonight on Long Island. Hopefully, the Islanders can get their first win at their new home – I sure hope so! I would like to be there when they do … maybe I will bring them luck! That is all for now, thanks for reading and happy holidays.

The New York Islanders take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night

 

Hello there New York Islanders Fans! I am coming to you from my house on this cold and rainy day bringing you all the very latest news regarding your New York Islanders as they get set to take on the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion, the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night. Going into this game against the Tampa Bay Lightning the New York Islanders have not put their best effort yet into this young hockey season, but this reporter still believes that there is still enough time for the Islanders to turn their ship in the right direction!

Now to the hockey game itself. The New York Islanders are coming off a shutout loss on Thursday night at the hands of the New Jersey Devils. Some players to watch in Monday night’s contest between the two teams include Steven Stamkos center for the Tampa Bay Lightning, who has been well known for ‘lighting the lamp’ especially in crunch time, and Matthew Barzal center for the New York Islanders, who speed and skating always make for an exciting game.

I sure hope that the Islanders can get back to their style of hockey and finish out this 13-game road trip with a bang before opening at the UBS arena in Elmont on Saturday, November 20th at 7:00 PM. Islanders fans as well as myself are looking forward to the opening game at the Islander’s brand-new home.

The New York islanders take on the Montreal Canadiens

Hello there, New York Islanders fans! I am coming to you live from my sweet ride bringing you the latest news on your favorite hockey team! The islanders continue their thirteen game road trip, visiting the Montreal Canadiens tonight at 7 PM eastern time. Coming into tonight's action, the Islanders have a record of three wins and two defeats with two overtime losses for 8 points in the Metropolitan Division, while the Habs come in with a record of three wins and 8 regulation defeats in the Atlantic. To put it straight. it is a big game for both teams. Some key match-ups to watch for in tonight's game include the Habs forwards Tyler Toffoli and Mike Hoffman. For our Islanders, Anders Lee and Oliver Wahlstrom. It will be critical for the Islanders to get back to their defensive style of hockey tonight if they want to continue picking up points on this daunting road trip.
