New York Islanders continue their West Coast trip in L.A.

Hello there New York Islander fans I am coming to you from my house on this cold but sunny day bringing you all the latest information on your favorite hockey team the blue and orange. Coming into tonight the New York Islanders are on fire! We have 6 straight victories and currently sit in the final Eastern Conference wild card spot with 72 points.  Our winning streak also has us just 2 points behind the Flyers for 3rd in the Metro, with 2 games in hand.

The Isles are halfway through their California road trip and will have to deal with one of the most formidable teams in the National Hockey League tonight, the L.A. Kings. They will have to contain top stars like Kevin Fiala, Pierre Luc Dubois, and captain Anze Kopitar, while continuing to put the puck in the back of the net. They Isles boast a 30-11 goal differential on their current win streak.

Coach Roy’s new line combinations seem to be just what the doctor ordered. The top line of Horvat-Barzal-Nelson will be heavily relied upon. Kyle Palmieri has been providing key secondary goal scoring, and rookie Kyle MacLean has been a pleasant surprise with 4th line veterans Matty Martin and Cal Clutterbuck. Ilya Sorokin returns to the crease after getting a well-deserved rest last night, as he watched reliable veteran backup Semyon Varlamov get the victory.

You can catch all of tonight’s late-night action starting at 10:30pm. The radio dial is WRHU 88.7. Let’s make it 7 wins in a row tonight boys!!

The New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics tonight from Madison Square Garden

The New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics tonight from Madison Square Garden

Hello there everyone, this is your favorite sports reporter bringing you the latest information on the New York Knickerbockers and their matchup against the Boston Celtics. Coming into tonight actions versus the Celtics the New York Knicks are coming off a very impressive victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in their previous game and will look to keep their momentum going tonight against one of the high-powered teams in the NBA this season. For the New York Knicks to produce a victory against the Celtics this evening they will have to contain the two headed monster that is Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown, not to mention former Knick first round pick Kristaps Porzingis.

The Knicks, however, have what this reporter believes to be the team MVP in Jalen Brunson. He is having a monster year, averaging career highs in about every statistical category. New York also has players returning from injury in Dantae Divincenzo and Isaiah Hartenstein, who has been a rebounding beast since the injury to Mitchell Robinson.

This should be a good litmus test for the Knicks tonight at MSG. You can catch the heart-pounding action on ABC at 8:30pm. Thanks for reading and GO NEW YORK GO NEW YORK GO!!!

Super Bowl LVIII is finally here!

Super Bowl LVIII is finally here!

Hello there everyone, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this Super Bowl Sunday. I am bringing you a preview of the big game between the San Francisco 49ers and the returning Super Bowl champions from last year, the Kansas City Chiefs. Coming into tonight’s action both teams have a high-powered offensive unit, with two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy. Even though Patrick Mahomes is looking for back-to-back Super Bowl championships, I would not go to sleep on the San Francisco 49ers! San Francisco has major firepower in their bag of tricks in Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle. They are both part of the engines that makes the San Francisco 49ers roll. It will be interesting to see which superpowered team is victorious tonight. The party all begins tonight in Vegas at 6:30 PM EST, on channel CBS.

My prediction is the San Francisco 49ers 27, the Kansas City Chiefs 24. The San Francisco 49ers are your 2024 Super Bowl champions! Well, that's all for now, thanks for reading and enjoy the game. Let's go San Francisco! Bring home your first Super Bowl title since 1979! God bless you all, stay safe and healthy everyone.

NY Islanders get back to action tonight

Hello there NY Islander fans! I am coming to you from my house bringing you the latest information on your favorite hockey team.

Coming into tonight's action, the NY Islanders are on a bit of a downward spiral. They have not been able to find consistency, or chemistry especially with their new coach, Patrick Roy.  The Islanders currently sit in 4th place in the Metropolitan division with 52 points. They have a tall mountain to climb if they want to make the Stanley cup playoffs in 2024.

The second half of the 2024 season begins tonight in Toronto against former Islander John Taveres and the Maple Leaf's. New York will have to contain the Toronto high powered offense while manufacturing scoring chances of their own.

I hope the Islanders are up for the task, and light the lamp multiple times. We need players like Mathew Barzal and Anders Lee, to go into the trenches and score. Let's start off the second half on the right foot.

You can catch all of tonight's action from Toronto on MSG+@ 7:00pm. Let's Go Islanders Yes, Yes, YES!

Hello everyone, this is your favorite sport reporter coming to you from my house on cold but sunny day bringing you the latest information on your favorite hockey team the New York Islanders. It was reported yesterday that the New York Islanders we are firing their current head coach in Lane Lambert and replacing him with the legendary goaltender in Patrick Roy, this comes as no surprise to this reporter the New York Islanders have been underwhelming this season with a record of 19 wins 16 losses and 11 overtime losses.  This record puts the Islanders in sixth place in their division with 49 points.  Hopefully, this coaching change will light a fire under the New York Islanders and propel them back into playoff contention. We need Matthew Barzal and Bo Horvat to bring us back from the dead. You can catch Patrick Roy’s coaching debut for your New York Islanders tonight at 7:30 on MSG plus.  LET’S GO ISLANDERS!!! nY Knicks Welcome Back RJ and IQ

Hey NY Knicks fans! I hope you are getting pumped up for tonight's Knicks vs Raptors game and the return of RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Mecca. Coming into tonight's action, the Knicks are on quite a roll since the trade of RJ and IQ to the Raptors in the deal that landed the Knicks OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn.

OG is averaging 17 points per game and has been the missing piece for the defense that the Knicks have been searching for.  Not only does he provide offense, but he is a stone wall on the defensive side of the ball as he provides energy and pumps up the crowd.  I am sad to see RJ and IQ go to Canada, but the deal seems to have worked out for both parties. Quickley has gotten more playing time and RJ is flourishing in his new role for Toronto averaging almost 18 points per game.

It will be interesting to see what the reception will be like for the two returning Knicks at MSG tonight.  The place will be rocking and it is probably going to be the hottest ticket in town.  I wish I could make it to the game,  but what can you do. I'll just enjoy Walt Frazier and Mike Breen from the comfort of my home.  I hope you guys are drinking plenty of hot chocolate and watching a good game tonight.

I'll talk to you next time. Lets go KNICKS, let's keep the wins rolling.  Stay safe and healthy and God bless you all.  You can catch the game tonight at 7:30 on MSG.

GO NY GO NY GO!
