Good afternoon New York Islander fans. Happy
Thanksgiving. This is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house
on this overcast day bringing you a preview of the New York Islanders vs
Boston Bruins game tonight from UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. Coming into this evening’s
action, the New York Islanders sit in 3rd place in the Metropolitan Division,
with a record of 13 wins, 8 defeats and two overtime defeats for a grand total
of twenty-eight points. So far this season, the New York Islanders are coming off
a very impressive win versus the Seattle Kraken in their last game! It took a
shootout to secure the two points, but we got it done. From the Blue Line out,
the orange and blue had one of the most outstanding defensive performances all
season long and David Rittich picked up a shutout. Now let’s focus on the opponent. The Bruins are one of the toughest teams
to compete with in the NHL with the likes of Charlie McAvoy and David Pastrnak
leading the way. Some things that this reporter will we’ll be watching for in
tonight’s game include players like Kyle Palmieri and Anders Lee to lead the
way for the orange and blue and see if They can slow down the Boston Bruins
dynamic offense. You can catch the game tonight at 7:00 PM on MSG + network.
Thanks for reading. Stay warm everyone and happy Thanksgiving.
