The New York Rivalry Renewed Tonight at UBS Arena

 

Hello there New York Islander fans, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this overcast day, bringing you a preview of the New York rivalry between the New York Rangers and New York Islanders game live from UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. Coming into tonight’s action the New York Islanders have a record of 20 victories, 13 losses and 4 overtime losses for a grand total of 44 points which puts them in 3^rd place in the Metropolitan Division standing, meanwhile the New York Rangers have a record of 19 wins, 16 defeats and 4 overtime losses for a grand total of 42. This puts them in 5^th place in the metropolitan standing so needless to say this game is big for both teams with the standings in the Eastern Conference being so tight. You could be in a playoff spot one day and be out of the playoffs the next day! Some key matchups to look forward in tonight’s game include JT Miller versus Matthew Barzal and Artemi Panarin versus Anders Lee. It will be interesting to see which team gets the ball rolling after the three-day Christmas break. I hope for my sake it is the New York Islanders.
