Good morning New York Islander fans, This is your
favorite sports reporter bringing you a preview of the New York Islander
Winnipeg Jets game tonight from Winnipeg, Coming into tonight game the New York
Islanders I’m coming off of a very impressive overtime victory against the
Minnesota Wild in their last contest Simon Holmstrom scored the game winner in
the extra session giving the Islanders a victory. Coming this evenings contest
the New York Islanders are currently sitting rather comfortably in second place
in the Metropolitan Division standings with a record of 25 victories 15 defeat
and 4 overtime defeats for a grand total of 55 points as of right now. While on
the other side of the ice the Winnipeg Jets have had a down year sitting In 8th
place in the Central Division standings with a record of 17 victories 22 defeat
and 4 overtime defeat. Some key things to look out for in tonight’s game
include some matchups are Kyle Connor versus Matthew Barzal and Anders Lee
versus Jonathan Toews it will be interesting to see which team comes out on
