Good afternoon New York Islanders fans, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this overcast day bringing you a preview of this evening’s contest between the New York Islanders and the Ottawa senators from Canadian Tire Center in Ontario Canada. Coming into this evening’s action the New York Islanders are coming off a victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday Buy a final score of three to one in regulation. with the victory the New York Islanders record improves to 39 victories 24 defeat and 5 Overtime defeats for a grand total of 83 points which put them in 3rd place in the Metropolitan division standings. Meanwhile on the other side of the ice the Ottawa Senators have a record of 34 victories 24 defeats and 9 overtime defeats for a grand total of 77 points, which puts them in 6th place in the Atlantic Division standings. Some key matchups That I will be looking forward to in this evening’s contest include Brady Tkachuk versus Matthew Barzal and Shane Pinto versus Anders Lee. The orange and blue will need to have a good goal tending performance as well if they want to continue their march toward this Stanley Cup Playoffs! I’m sure that the Canadian Tire Center in Ontario Canada we’ll be rocking this evening with both of these teams fighting for playoff position and the chance to go to the big dance LOL But one of these teams is going to be Left without a partner at the end of the day unfortunately Let’s hope it’s not the New York Islanders at least for my sake!
