The New York Islanders travel north of the border to take on the Toronto Maple Leaf’s tonight.

Good afternoon New York Islander fans, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this sunny but windy day bringing you a preview of a St Patrick’s day battle between the New York Islanders and then Toronto Maple Leaf’s at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto Ontario Canada. Coming into this evening’s action versus the Maple Leafs, The New York Islanders were victorious over the Calgary Flames by a score of three to two in regulation in their previous contest. The New York Islanders Now have a record of 38 victories 24 defeats and 5 Overtime defeats for a grand total of 81 points which puts them in 3rd place In the Metropolitan Division standings. Meanwhile the Toronto Maple Leafs have had a roller coaster of a season to this day with a record of 29 victories and 27 defeats for a grand total of 70 points which puts them in 7th place in the Atlantic Division standings. I will be interested to see how the New York Islanders come out tonight north of the border! Some key matchups then I will be looking for in tonight’s contest Include William Nylander versus Matthew Barzal It will be interesting to Watch How the Maple Leafs Begin tonight’s action as well! With the loss of Captain Austin Matthews for the remainder of the season, I don’t think Toronto will have any heart in tonight’s game, but you never know things can always be different at the drop of a hat or glove LOL I hope the New York Islanders come out tonight with some fire and desire! And bring home a big two points in the standings and get one step closer to the Stanley Cup Playoffs well that’s all for now this has been Mr. Hockey signing off until next time stay classy everyone and enjoy the game you can catch all of the beginning tonight at 7:00 PM on MSG plus with my friends Brandon Burke and Shannon Hogan on the call Thanks for reading!
