Good afternoon New York Islander fans, this is your
favorite sports reporter bringing you a preview of the Anaheim Ducks New York
Islanders game tonight from Honda Center in Anaheim California. Coming into
tonight’s action the New York Islanders are out on the West Coast to battle the
ducks No not those ducks The Anaheim ducks quack quack quack coming into play
this evening the Islanders are looking to continue their winning ways by trying
for a 6th straight victory post Olympic break. In the previous
contest against the defending Stanley Cup champions the Florida Panthers The
New York Islanders had to come from behind once again with Matthew Schaefer scoring two goals once again and the help of the captain Anders Lee who scored
the game winner in a 5 to 4 victory over the Panthers with about 30 seconds
remaining in the game! Now let’s turn our attention to the orange and blue Next
opponent in the Anaheim Ducks who currently sit in second position in the
Pacific division standings with a record of 33 victories 23 defeats and three
overtime defeats for a grand total 69 point in the standings, Meanwhile the New
York Islanders who are currently tired with the Pittsburgh Penguins for second
place in the Metropolitan Division standings with a record of 35 victories 21
defeats and 5 Overtime defeats for a grand total 75 point. Some key matchups
that I will be looking forward to include Matthew Barzal and Anthony Duclair for
the Islanders going up against Chris Kreider and Leo Carlsson. It should be an
interesting game to say the least! You can watch the game this evening on MSG
Plus with my friends Brandon Burke and Shannon Hogan on the call beginning at 10:00 PM Or if you’re like me you can listen it on the radio as you fall asleep
on radio station WHRU 88.7FM thanks for reading Don’t stay up too late LOL
until next time this has been Mr. Hockey signing off I hope you enjoy the game
either way you take it Let me know what you think would really appreciate your
feedback Thanks everyone!
