Good afternoon New York Islanders fans, This is your
favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this cold but sunny day
bringing you a preview of the New York Islander Minnesota Wild game from Grand
Casino Arena in Saint Paul MN. Coming into this evenings contest versus the
Wild The New York Islanders are you sitting in 5th place in the
Metropolitan Division standings with a current record 6 victories 4 defeats and
two overtime defeat for a grand total 14 points this season so far. Meanwhile
on the other side of the ice the Minnesota Wild sit in first place In the
Central Division standings with a record of 9 victories 3 defeats and two
overtime defeats for a grand total 20 points this season so far. The Islanders
are looking too take two out of three games on this three game road trip
Earning a possible 4 points out of 6 for this road trip before coming back home
to host Connor McDavid is the Edmonton Oilers in a Halloween match up on
Saturday which I will be working! But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves
LOL we need to focus on the game at hand with the wild this evening. Some key
matchups that I will be looking forward to in this evening’s contest Include Bo
Horvat versus Matt Boldy and Matthew Schaefer versus Quinn Hughes It should be
an interesting game the New York Islanders we will need too quiet the home
crowd early before they get behind the wild how we do that if we score an early
goal and put all the pressure on the wild to come back. The New York Islanders
will need to have a good defensive game with outstanding saves from between the
pipes if they want to come away a big two points on the road this evening Well
that is all for now this has been Mr Hockey until next time New York Islanders
fans stay warm and stay safe you can catch all of the action beginning tonight
at 7:30 PM on MSG plus with my friends Brendan Burke and Shannon Hogan bringing
you all the action Let’s go New York Islanders Bring home a big two points Yes
yes yes Stay warm everyone Thanks for reading!
