The New York Islanders travel to Saint Louis Missouri to take on the St Louis Blues tonight

Good morning New York Islander fans, this is your favorite sports reporter coming to you from my house on this sunny day bringing you a preview of tonight New York Islander vs Saint Louis Blues game from the Enterprise Center in Saint Louis MO. Coming into tonight’s action, the New York Islanders have a record of 36 victories, 23 defeat and 5 overtime defeats. This puts them in 3rd place in the Metropolitan Division standings with a grand total of 77 points, in the previous contest it took overtime to defeat the up-and-coming Sharks with Bo Horvat scoring the game deciding goal to give the Blue and Orange the victory. Now we turn our attention to the Blues, who have had a very disappointing season this year. Coming into action with a record of 25 victories, 29 defeats and 9 overtime defeats for a grand total of 59 points, putting them in 7th place in the Central Division standings. Some key matchups then I will be looking out for include Matthew Barzal versus Robert Thomas and Anders Lee versus Jordan Kyrou. It should be an interesting game. Especially because new acquisition Brayden Schenn was traded from the Blues to the Isles just a few days ago. He should be fired up and should receive a standing ovation from the Blues faithful. The Islanders will need an all-around team effort if they want to come away with the two points tonight. You can catch all of the action beginning at 7:30 on TNT. Let’s go New York Islanders! Bring home the two points. Thanks for reading everyone. Stay classy and stay warm!
