A Heated Play Off Push Takes Shape In The Bronx

Hello there New York Yankee fans. The Bronx will be rocking with a playoff preview tonight at 7pm eastern time as the New York Yankees go head on with the Cleveland Indians. Coming into tonight's vital game, the Yankees are riding high off of there series sweep of the Seattle Mariners. The Yankees are looking to keep their playoff position intact with another win under the bright lights. It's going to be a tough hill to climb for the baby bombers when facing the veteran Carlos Santana and his tribe. The pitching match up for tonight's game will be interesting to dissect when two vicious arm slingers are going at it Mano y Mano. Louis Severino and Cory Kluber will be trying to get game one of this 3 game set. Both are considered the ace of there staff and are fight to be king of the hill. Severino record coming into tonight action is 11 wins with 5 loses. He has a 3.31 era meanwhile Kluber has 12 wins with 4 loses and has a 2.65 era. Hopefully the Yankees bats will make a huge dent in Cubers era. Also, we hope that Severino can pitch lights out to put the Yankees on top. The Yankees are just 2 and a half games back in the AL east standings with Boston coming to town next week. Two top teams in the WNBA square off at MSG today

Hello there WNBA fans, I am coming to you live from Madison square garden, where the New York liberty get set to take on Candace Parker and the Los Angeles sparks.  Coming into today action the New York liberty have a record of 14,12 while the sparks have a record of 19,7 both  of the team's are in playoffs contention right now.  The liberty are in third place in the eastern conference standings, while the sparks are in second place in the western conference standings.  Today game is a huge game for both of these teams because the season serious is 2,1 to the sparks the liberty will try to even the series at 2 games with a win this afternoon at 3:00 PM today.  Now let's break now the match up, both of these teams have A superstar for the New York liberty that player is Tina Charles and for the Los Angeles it is Nineka Ogwumike, they are both averaging 19 points per game with the advantage going to Tina in the rebounding category with 9.4 rebounds per game hopefully the liberty will be victorious today.  Well is all for now reporting live from Madison square garden this has been Mr. Lightning signing off for now until we meet again New York liberty fans, who know maybe  one day I will see at the garden!

Rivalry Week Begins This week

Hello there New York Yankee fans! Are you guys and gals as pumped as I am for rivalry week. As the Yankees take on the Boston Red socks and the New York Mets. It all begins tonight with the first game of a three games set against the Red Socks. Coming into tonight's pivotal game with the Socks, the Yankees currently sit four games behind the Socks in the American League east standings. The Yankees will hope to provide run support for Jamie Garcia, who will take the mount for the Yankees. Edwardo Rodriguez will oppose Garcia tonight at a head to head battle to see who will rain supreme in the AL East. Now on the other hand, after the Red Socks come to town, the Yankees will be facing the New York Metropolitans to see who will be crowned king of New York. Both rivalry are very important in there own unique ways. The Mets rivalry, although they are not going to the post season, still is a big deal for New York fans due to bragging rights. Boston is also a big time rivalry game, not only for bragging rights, but for the division title as well. The Yankee universe will hopefully have something to cheer about after these games. I'm not making any predictions or promises, but I believe the men pin stripes will put on a good show for the fans not only watching on TV but the fans in the stands. Yankees Have A Sonny Day With Gray Today

Hello there New York Yankee fans, I am coming to you live from the Bronx New York, where the Yanks make a big splash on Sonny Gray. The Yankees have been making moves leading up to the trade deadline in order to bolster there roster for this upcoming post season. Sonny Gray comes into the Bronx 6-5 record with a era of 3.43 but he is 5-1 in his last 6 starts. Yankees have a great pitching line up as is but with Gray on the mount they are arguably top 3 in the American League of the MLB. Gray will get a call for his first Yankee start on Thursday 8/3/17 vs the Cleveland Indians in Cleveland.
