The New York Islanders have their new head coach in Patrick Roy

Hello everyone, this is your favorite sport reporter coming to you from my house on cold but sunny day bringing you the latest information on your favorite hockey team the New York Islanders. It was reported yesterday that the New York Islanders we are firing their current head coach in Lane Lambert and replacing him with the legendary goaltender in Patrick Roy, this comes as no surprise to this reporter the New York Islanders have been underwhelming this season with a record of 19 wins 16 losses and 11 overtime losses.  This record puts the Islanders in sixth place in their division with 49 points.  Hopefully, this coaching change will light a fire under the New York Islanders and propel them back into playoff contention. We need Matthew Barzal and Bo Horvat to bring us back from the dead. You can catch Patrick Roy’s coaching debut for your New York Islanders tonight at 7:30 on MSG plus.  LET’S GO ISLANDERS!!! YES, YES YES! Thanks for reading and stay warm.

nY Knicks Welcome Back RJ and IQ

Hey NY Knicks fans! I hope you are getting pumped up for tonight's Knicks vs Raptors game and the return of RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Mecca. Coming into tonight's action, the Knicks are on quite a roll since the trade of RJ and IQ to the Raptors in the deal that landed the Knicks OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn.

OG is averaging 17 points per game and has been the missing piece for the defense that the Knicks have been searching for.  Not only does he provide offense, but he is a stone wall on the defensive side of the ball as he provides energy and pumps up the crowd.  I am sad to see RJ and IQ go to Canada, but the deal seems to have worked out for both parties. Quickley has gotten more playing time and RJ is flourishing in his new role for Toronto averaging almost 18 points per game.

It will be interesting to see what the reception will be like for the two returning Knicks at MSG tonight.  The place will be rocking and it is probably going to be the hottest ticket in town.  I wish I could make it to the game,  but what can you do. I'll just enjoy Walt Frazier and Mike Breen from the comfort of my home.  I hope you guys are drinking plenty of hot chocolate and watching a good game tonight.

I'll talk to you next time. Lets go KNICKS, let's keep the wins rolling.  Stay safe and healthy and God bless you all.  You can catch the game tonight at 7:30 on MSG.

GO NY GO NY GO!
