Islanders remarkable season continues under Barry Trotz

Hello there NY Islander fans, I am coming to you live from the Colisseum. The Islanders remarkable first season under coach Barry Trotz continues. The Islanders now are on top of the Metropolitan division with 60 points and a record of 28/14/4. The Islanders are coming into tomorrow’s action vs the Ducks coming off of a back to back earlier this week which resulted in 2 wins, (New Jersey Devils) (Washington Capitals). On the other side of the spectrum Anaheim is just looking for consistency, as they appear to be headed in the opposite direction of the Islanders through 48 games this season. The Isles are looking poised to make a deep playoff run if things keep going this way. The talent on the Islanders roster is overflowing, with the loss of  John Tavares the Islanders  many experts Predicted that the Islanders would not even be relevant this season, but have not missed a beat. They have been led by their younger players in Barzel and Anders Lee. The Islanders youth is blossoming at a fast pace, while the Ducks seem to lack leadership and take a step back everytime they hit the ice. Although they do have veterans Henrique, Ryan Getzlaf and John Gibson something is just not clicking with the Ducks. You can catch the game tomorrow at 3pm on MSG+ beginning with Islanders game night. Let’s Go Islanders!!!! Yes Yes Yes!!! Keep the good times rolling, and the barn rocking!!

Yankees offseason moves

Hello there Yankee fans, I am coming to you live from outside Yankee stadium with the latest offseason moves for your New York Yankees.  Let’s start with the elephant in the room, Manny Machado. It appears the Yankees are out of the Machado sweepstakes with the signing of DJ LeMehiu  and Troy Tulowitzki.  Dj is signed to a 2 year deal worth up to 24 million dollars while Tulo is inked to 1 year  deal under the league minimum. The latest move is the acquisition of Adam Ottavino  for 3 years at 27 million dollars. Once again the Yankees are showing they have the best bullpen in baseball. Other moves include the resigning of J. Happ, CC,  and James Paxton to sure up their starting rotation.  Other future moves to get done will be presented in the future posts.  That’s all for now Yankee fans. Talk to u next time.

4 Teams left In the Race for the Lombardi Trophy

Hello there football fans,  I am coming to you live from NYC where the race for the Vince Lombardi trophy is in the home stretch to see who takes it home. Those teams include the New England Patriots, the upstart KC Chiefs, the high flying LA Rams,  and the high powered New Orleans Saints. Let’s start with the AFC matchup between Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs and Tom Brady  and the Patriots.  I’m predicting a high scoring shootout between 2 of the more efficient and talented offenses in the NFL.  Coming into Sunday nights matchup Patrick Mahomes is coming off a phenomenal first full season as the Chiefs starting Quarterback. He will have no shortage of weapons on offense come Sunday as he will look to veteran Travis Kelce  and the speedster Tyrell Hill. However, they will have their work cutout for them as they will take on Old reliable Tom Brady as he appears in his 8th straight conference championship game. As for the NFC title game, It should be a high scoring close contest that comes down to the wire, just like it did earlier in the season when these two titans collided.  Personally, I believe unlike last time, the youth filled LA Rams and Jared Goff  will outlast the New Orleans Saints this time. Should be an exciting weekend for the ages. Starting Sunday at 3 pm to catch all the action from New Orleans and directly following that the Patriots and Chiefs will kickoff around 630 pm. Are you Ready for some football?!?!?!!!!!

Battle of NY Part 3

Hello there New York hockey fans, I am coming to you live  from Madison Square Garden where the rivalry is renewed between the NY Rangers and the NY Islanders.  Coming into tonight’s action, we have 2 teams trending in opposite directions. You have the Rangers who clearly are entering a rebuild while the Islanders are looking to make it 10 wins in their last 12 games and climb back into 3rd place in the Metropolitan division.  Coaches for both the Isles and the Rangers are trying to make their mark on the organization during their 1st year with the team.  The Isles seem to have gotten the message and have a record of 9 and 2 in their last 11 games. Unfortunately their haven’t  been too many bright spots this year for the Rangers as they try to keep their heads above water.  Goaltending has not been very good as of late for the Rangers, so they will have quite a task tonight in front of them trying to stop a young surging Islander offense. Hopefully my next post will reflect an Islander Win!!!!! Yes!! Yes!!!!! Yes!!!!!
