Islanders Get Set for Round 2 vs Tampa Bay Lightning

Hello New York Islanders Fans!!! YES, YES, YES the Islanders have made it to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Islanders are coming off a dramatic win in double overtime over the Florida Panthers, securing their first playoff series win since 1993. It was a great win and a heck of a series. Now, however, the Isles focus shifts to the next opponent: the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are coming off a series win against the Detroit Red Wings. The Islanders took 2 out of 3 games during the regular seasons versus the Lightning. The circumstances are different now, it is a whole new ballgame when you are fighting for Lord's Stanley Cup. The key injuries coming into the series tonight include: Josh Bailey and Jaroslav Halack. On Tampa's side, injuries include: Steven Stamkos )who is out with a blood clot in his arm) and Antoine Stralman (who is out with a broken leg). Good news for the Islanders however, Jaroslav Halak has been skating during morning warmups and should be returning soon.THe Islanders will have to dig deep in order to pull out a win tonight without some key players. New York has the advantage on the penalty kill and on the power play as well. Tonight's goalie matchup, The Islanders will have Thomas Greiss vs Ben Bishop between the pipes. Islanders look to take a 3-1 series lead

Hello New York Islanders Fans, I am coming to you live from the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. Where the Islanders are looking to take a commanding lead over the Florida Panthers in their best of 7 series.  The Isles currently lead the series 2 games to one. They are coming off a dramatic win on Sunday night and look to ride their momentum into Game 4 tonight. They will have Thomas Griess in net vs  Luongo for the Panthers. I am really looking forward to see which team can make their momentum last longer. I believe the Panthers will be the more desperate team tonight because they do not want to go back to sunny Florida facing an elimination game. On the other hand, the Islanders will try and feast off their home crowd's energy. I can't wait to see the incredible high-flying action. The New York Islanders go for the season series sweep over the Rangers!

Hello there New York islander fans I am coming to you live from Madison Square Garden where the New York Islanders trying too sweep the New York Rangers Tonight.Coming into tonight's action both teams are coming off of wins in their last games the New York Rangers come Into the night with 97 points. 2 points ahead of the Islanders for third place in the metropolitan division.  Tonight is a big game for both teams--the Islanders are trying to go for the season sweep, while the Rangers are trying to avoid getting blanked by the Isle's this season. 
Although both teams have secured play off spots, this should be a hard fought game for both teams! I expect both teams to come out fighting with lots of hard hits and fantastic plays!  I cannot wait to see who comes out on top.

ISLANDERS HAVE A CHANCE TO CLINCH PLAYOFF SPOT

Hello New York Islanders Fans, I am coming to you live from the Verizon Center in Washington DC. The Islanders have a chance to nail down a playoff spot tonight with a win over Alexander Ovetchkin and the Washington Capitals. The Islanders are coming in off a win last night over the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2. They are looking to ride their momentum into Washington. I am curious to find out what this team is made of when it comes down to crunch time.  Tonight, we should see some high-flying action, hard  hitting, and great team play. Tonight's goal tending match up is Gibson vs. Holtby. Lets see if the Islanders have what it takes to nail down a playoff spot and move into a tie with the New York Rangers for third place in the Metropolitan Division with a game at hand coming up on Thursday. I will even give a prediction for you.. I believe the Islanders will win.
