The New York Knicks on fire!

Hello there New York Knicks fans I am coming to you live from Madison Square Garden, where the New York Knicks are riding the winning streak of four games and are back at the 500 mark for this season.  The most recent win came  against the Chicago bulls last night with the final score of last night's game 91 to 107, I am really impressed of how fantastic this team is playing right now they have balanced scoring outstanding team defense during this run, and it is all coming together for this team.  I feel like play with the best teams in the NBA right now.  Led by Carmelo Anthony we will see if this team is for real pretty soon when they go up against Lebron James on Wednesday night, and then we will see what this team is really made up!  Well it is all for now reportedly live from Madison Square Garden this has been Mr. Lightning signing off for now PS let's go New York I believe we will win!

The New York Islanders go to Colorado to take on the Avalanche

Hello there New York islander fans.  I am coming to you live from Denver Colorado where the New York Islanders get ready to take on the Colorado Avalanche tonight.  New York is coming off of a embarrassing loss to the Florida  Panthers on Tuesday night, the Islanders will try to get back on track tonight.  The team looked lethargic on Tuesday night getting thoroughly outplayed in every way!  I am hoping that the team has their Moe Joe back tonight!  Otherwise I will not stand a chance against Colorado and their fast skating team, they have some pretty good talent as well such as Matt duchene.  Hopefully the Islanders will have a game plan to come out on top and move up the standings in the metropolitan.  That is all for now reporting live from Denver Colorado this has been Mr. Lightning signing off until next time islander fans have a great night and let's go Islanders'PS you can catch the game at 9:00 tonight on MSG plus 2 with Howe rose and Butch goring on the call enjoy the game you know I will!

New York Islander's off to a Fast Start in their New Home

Hello there New York Islander Fans! I am back, bringing you the latest team news and updates from Philadelphia, where the Islander's are set to take the ice tomorrow night against the Flyer's. The team's most recent game was against the Ottowa Senators, where they earned 1 point in an overtime loss. The team has been looking great in the opening weeks of the season, earning 37 points with a 15-8-5 record in their first 28 games. They're sitting in third place in the division, and will look to move up in the ranks with a win tomorrow night.  Kyle Okposso has been on a personal points tear over the last two weeks. Hopefully he will keep that up, maintain his energy level and keep his points rolling in. Let's not forget about the consistent goal tending that Islander's are getting from Halak, and Greiss. These two goalies both have save percentages over 92% with around 400 saves each. They split their duties, insuring that fatigue is never a factor. No matter who starts tomorrow, we should be solid between the pipes. Hopefully there will be lots of hard hitting and brilliant plays tomorrow night. This has been Mr. Lightning, reporting live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philly. Let's Go Islander's! Bring home another win! I'll be watching... tune into MSG tomorrow night at 7pm so you can do the same. You can hear the call of Butch and Howie, and don't forget about Shannon. YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!

Knicks Travel Across the Canadian Border

Hello New York Knicks' Fans. I am coming to you live from the Air Canada Centre, where the Knicks are going to duke it out tonight with the Toronto Raptors. The Knicks come into tonight's game with a record of 3-4, while the Raptors sit at 5-2. The Knicks are coming off a win over the Los Angeles Lakers, where rookie phenom Kristaps Porzingis posted his 3rd double-double in the last 4 games. Another big contributor in the Knicks' last game was Robin Lopez, who posted a double-double of his own. These two will have to put up these kind of numbers again tonight if the Knicks are going to even up their record at 4-4. They will have to get past Demar Derozan, Kyle Lowry and co. to get there. I'm making a bold prediction, Porzingis should finish the night with 14 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. You can catch the game tonight at 7:30 on MSG, with the one and only Walt Clyde Frazier. Hopefully there'll be no shortage of "swishing and dishing" from the orange and blue tonight. Let's look for the Knicks to edge out a close win in this one. That is all for now. THis has been Mr. Lightning, signing off. Thanks for reading. Let's go Knicks!

Mets Try to Take a Strangle Hold Over Cubs in Game 3

Hello sport's fans! I am back, bringing you all the action from Wrigley Field in the Windy City. The New York Mets square off against the Chicago Cubs in game 3 of the NLCS. The New York Metropolitans are trying to take a commanding 3 games to 0 lead in the series, while Chicago tries to bring some magic to their home ballpark. The Cubs will look to keep their unbeaten post season home streak alive and cooking, but they are up against one of the best pitchers in baseball...and the hottest team in professional sports. Jacob deGrom will pitch against Kyle Hendricks in one of the most pivotal games in Chicago Cubs' history. As we all know, the Cubs haven't made it to the World Series since 1945. And the Mets will hope to keep it that way. It will be a fun game to watch, lots of heart, hard hitting and phenomenal pitching by both teams. One of the Mets' most clutch post season performers this season is of course Daniel Murphy. With a .357 batting average, 5 homers and 8 RBIs in 7 games, Murph has put the city of New York on his back. His home runs haven't come off just any old pitchers...he has big jacks off of two Cy Young award winners in Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw, and a 20+ win pitcher in Jake Arietta...and he did it all in the same week. Hopefully the Mets can keep riding Murphs hot bat all the way to the Promise Land. Let's Go Mets! Enjoy the game tonight, you can find it on TBS at 8:07pm sharp.

New York Mets Making a Strong Push for MLB Postseason

Hello there New York Metropolitan Fans. I am coming to you live from City Field in Queens, New York where the Mets are on fire. Over the last month, they have increased their lead in the National league east to 6.5 games ahead of the Nationals. With September looming, the new additions the Mets acquired have really paid off so far. I see the Mets as a real contender for the playoffs this year. Terry Collins's experience in New York has been filled with rough patches. But now, the team is really coming together because of the key players they have acquired. Now the Terry is producing results he will be in the spotlight more then ever. If they choke in the post season, that's it. I would think he'll have one more year after a post season flop. The Mets will certainly have to make some key moves and weigh all their options this off-season. Let's Go Mets! This has been Mr. Lightning reporting, thanks for reading. I'll be back again.

NBA Free Agency

Hello there NBA fans. This is Mr. Lightning, reporting live from Madison Square Garden where the 2015 NBA free agency is in full swing. Our first stop is San Antonio, Texas, where the Spurs made some big moves. Acquiring Lamarcus Aldridge, and David West will greatly improve the teams chances to win another NBA title this year. Also, resigning Tim Duncan, Kawhai Leonard, and Danny Green will maintain continuity in the team aspect. What San Antonio is trying to accomplish this year is to bring home another title. Former Knick Amar'e Stoudemire took the veterans minimum and signed with Miami to help improve D-Wade's chances for a 4th title. Let's not forget about our Knicks. The Zen Master, A.K.A Phil Jackson, is making a huge splash this off season. New additions such as Robin Lopez, Aron Afflalo, Derek Williams, Jerian Grant, and of course Porzingis put the team back in NBA relevance (hopefully). Recent discussions have surfaced about signing Carlos Boozer, Glen Davis, and Norris Cole too. We can only watch and hope these new Knicks will give fans something to root for through May. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. This has been Mr. Lightning, reporting live from the Mecca of Basketball. The greatest arena on earth, and don't you forget it.

FIFA Womens World Cup

Hello all you Soccer fans. I am coming to you live from Toronto, Canada. Where the 2015 US Women's national team hopes to win another title. They won Group D, and are now ready for the round of 16 and knockout stages of the tournament. The US Women's national team is ranked 2nd in the world, hopefully they can move that up to 1st. There has been a lot of high flying action, magnificent saves by Hope Solo, and just all around good team play. I can't wait to see what the USA does next.

Splash Brothers Finally Capture a Championship for Golden State

Hello basketball fans. I am coming to  you live from Oracle Arena, where the Golden State Warriors have captured their first NBA title since 1975.  It all started over the summer with the signing of Steve Kerr as the head coach. With a franchise record 67 wins, the Warriors were able to secure the number 1 seed in the Western Conference, and take home court advantage in the NBA finals. Steve Kerr brought Golden State closer as a unit during the regular season, and inspired them to go win it all, which they eventually did. The Warriors beat Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers , despite Lebron's heroic performances.  Hopefully this is the first of many championships for Steph Curry. It's also sad to see Lebron's homecoming end with disappointment. Better luck next year. It will be interesting to see what happens in summer free agency. This has been a thrilling NBA season, I can't wait to see what happens next year. Until next year, this is Mr. Lightning signing off. Hopefully we'll get to see more Riley in the future.

The NBA finals getting underway

Hello basketball fans I am coming to you live from Oakland California where the NBA finals got into full swing On Thursday night . With the golden state warriors taking a 1 nothing lead over the Cleveland cavaliers, with the final score of 100 to 109 even though Lebron James had A Playoff career high with 44 Points Thursday night  On top of the loss the cavaliers also loss their top point guard to A fractured kneecap late in overtime.  and he will certainly be out for the remainder of the NBA finals. What A devastating blow for Cleveland cavalier fans I hope Lebron James can help to carry to a victory in game two, but unfortunately I do not see Cleveland winning this series.  I think the warriors will win it in five games, but we will have to wait and see miracles can happen you never know! That is all for now this has been Mr. Lightning reporting live from Oakland California thanks for reading and keep your comments coming

Two Teams Left Standing for Lord Stanley's Cup

Hello hockey fans. I am coming to you live from Tampa, Florida. Getting you all hyped up for game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Chicago Blackhawks. I am really looking forward to seeing how these two teams face off against one another, and how much energy both teams will have coming off dramatic wins in their game 7's.  It will be interesting to see who will take the upper hand tonight in game 1. I know each team has great potential, but I can tell you this; it's gonna' be a dog fight. I am looking forward to each and every minute of it. Tampa Bay has not won the Stanley Cup since 2004. I'm predicting Chicago in 6. Let's see how this all shakes out, and which team's hard work, dedication, and effort will all pay off in the end with Hockey's Ultimate Prize.

The King is one Step Closer to his Goal

Hello there Basketball fans. I'm coming to you live from Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland, Ohio where the Cleveland Cavaliers have made it to the Finals. The Cavs seem set to face the Golden State Warriors, unless James Harden pulls a miracle out of himself. You never know, miracles do happen. Just look at 1980. USA! During the course of the season, the Cavs made several moves to strengthen their bench in the race for a title this year. It is really paying off. Two players in particular are coming up big when it counts.  These two players, are of course former Knicks, Iman Shumpert, and Jr Smith. Also known as the high top, and the prank master. Like Jr says, there's nothing to do in Cleveland except play basketball and video games. So naturally, he's begun to take his career seriously...too bad for Knicks' fans. Why couldn't he do that while he was here? All the pieces are falling into place for Lebron to win his third title in a fairytale ending for his homecoming story. The King is definitely back in town.

Do or Die to Advance to the Big Dance

Hello all you hockey fanatics. I am coming to you live from the world's most famous arena, where the Rangers get set to go big or go home as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.  There has been lots of drama, lots of fast pace action, and magnificent plays throughout the series.  If you're not addicted to this series yet, you will be tomorrow night. Even though I am an Islander fan, I cannot help but root for Big Hank and the Rangers after the grabbed home ice advantage back from the Lightning with a convincing 7-3 win in game 6.  If I know anything, the Garden will be rocking tomorrow night. It will be packed to the rafters. This is it, go big or go home. I'll be watching on the edge of my seat, like all the Ranger fans. Let's go Rangers! This has been the Flash, signing off till next time. Thanks for reading. Thanks for all your support.
