Islanders battle the B’s at Collisseum

Hello NY Islander faithful, I am coming to you live from NYCB where the Islanders look to break the tie between themselves and the Capitals and move into soul possession of first place. Coming into tonight’s action the Islanders have a record of 41-24-7 while the Capitals sport the same record, both teams tallying 91 points thus far. The Bruins have 93 points on the season and look to continue their success. The Isles coming into the action tonight are fresh off a 2-1 overtime win over the Minnesota Wild. While the Bruins are fresh off a Win themselves and have been one of the most consistent teams in the league thus Far. With guys like David Pasternak and Brad Marchand the Islanders are certainly gonna have their hands full and will need to really step up on defense. Anders Lee has scored  in 2 straight games and has 26 goals on the season while Matt Barzal has been quiet as of late in the scoring department but provides an obvious spark when on the ice. Robin Lerlhner  and Rask will matchup in what should be a low scoring matchup considering the talent between the pipes on both ends of the ice. Islanders Host Carey Price at NYCB

Hello there Islander fans, I am coming to you live from NYCB where the New York Islanders take on the Montreal Canadiens.  Coming into tonight’s action both teams are coming off big wins as the Isles knocked off the surging Blue Jackets just the other night while the Canadiens themselves are looking to keep the momentum going and finish this late playoff push. The Islanders need to keep this going and build off of what they have started here this year if they have any hopes of making a deep playoff run. Currently the Canadiens are on the outside looking in, and need Wins. Let’s hope the Islanders can get the best of Carey Price this evening at NYCB. Islanders Battle New Look BlueJackets Tonight

Hello there NY Islander fans, I am coming to you live from NYCB live, where the Islanders look to gain some ground on the Washington Capitals.  Coming into tonight's action the Islanders have a record of 39-22-7 for a grand total of 85 points, while the Bluejackets come into tonight with a record of 38-27-3 tallying 79 sitting in 8th place in the Eastern Conference, which has them occupying the final playoff spot in the east for the time being.  The Islanders are looking to bounce back in a big way coming off a 5-2 disheartening loss to the Flyers.  I know we are all hoping that Barry Trotz can deliver a stern message to his team and that will reflect in their play.  On the other side the Bluejackets  all in at the trading deadline acquiring Matt Duchene, Adam McQuaid and Kincaid hoping that their big gamble would pay off in the end.  Thomas Greiss is looking for a better showing than what he showed us over this past weekend.  Let's hope that he can get the job done much to the satisfaction of the Islander faithful.  I am really looking forward to seeing if the Isles can bounce back in this one, you can catch all of the action tonight on MSG+, Lets go get a big win!!
