Coming into tonight’s action, the New York Islanders have their four-game winning streak broken by the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately for the New York Islanders they had to take on the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night and ultimately came up short. Now they turn their attention to one of the hottest teams in the NHL, the Hurricanes. Some key matchups for tonight’s game include Matthew Barzal and Matthew Schaefer against Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis. It will be interesting to see which of these teams can come out on top tonight. David Riddick is expected to get the start tonight versus the Hurricanes. The Islanders are on the first set of back-to-back games. They play in Washington tomorrow night versus Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. We will need all the help we can get for  this back-to-back.
