Salute to the Captain

Hello Baseball Fans!! I am coming to you from outside Fenway Park where I have just witnessed the end of an era. Jeter is the Joe Dimaggio of our generation.  He finished with 3,465 hits (6th all time), 260 home runs, 358 stolen bases, 1,923 runs scores over a 19 year career all in pinstripes. Jeter was known as the face of baseball. Everywhere Jeter went, everyone looked up to him and respected him. I have great respect for Mr. Jeter. I will miss his class in the game of baseball. Some of the gifts he received over his final year as a Yankee included second base from Fenway Park with his #2 painted on it, a piece of the green monster, a rocking chair, a kayak, a surfboard, gold clubs, cowboy boots, and most improtantly money for his Turn 2 Foundation. In closing, there will never be another Derek Jeter. Thank you for all the memories, this reporter will cherish them forever. Good Luck in whatever you do. Thank you Jeter! We all will miss you!!! This has been the Ladies Man signing off for now. I have go to a party and pick up some of Jeter's chicks. Thanks for reading. I am out of hear. Jeter wait up!! Good luck with your girlfriend. Dam she is hot.
