Islanders Try For A 3-0 Season Series Lead

Hey there New York Islander fans! This is Mr. Lightning coming to you live from MSG, where the New York Islanders get set to take on their bitter inner city rivals the New York Rangers. Here is a preview of tomorrow’s action. Both New York teams are coming off dramatic wins. The Rangers are coming into tomorrow’s game against the Islanders after a thrilling win over Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals on Friday night. Meanwhile, the New York Islanders are coming off a thrilling overtime win over Drew Stafford and the Winnipeg Jets with Kyle Okposo netting the game winner for the Isles. The Islanders are 2-0 against their inner city rivals this season. However, coming into tomorrow’s game, the Rangers are ahead of the Islanders by five points in the Metropolitan Division. If the season ended today, the Islanders and Rangers would collide in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. I am really looking forward to some hard hitting and brilliant play and some outstanding goal tending by Halak and Raanta. Hopefully, the Islanders will take a 3-0 series lead tomorrow.
