The New York Knicks are trying to extend their winning streak to ten games, which would be the most they would have this season. In the current history of the New York Knicks, as far as this reporter knows, they have only accomplished forty wins three times in their franchise history. Off the top of my head, the only season I can recall where the New York Knicks had forty wins was the 2012-2013 NBA Season. This is the year where Carmelo Anthony and Mike Woodson leading the New York Knicks to a 54 win season but, unfortunately they lost to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the NBA playoffs that year.
